Grammy-winning Nigerian music star Burna Boy has set a new record as the first African artist to generate the highest revenue from a concert tour in Oceania.
According to data released by Touring Data, a global tour monitoring platform, the singer’s “No Sign of Weakness” tour has become the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania’s history.

The platform disclosed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the tour generated about 3.1 million dollars from more than 31,000 tickets sold across four shows in the region.
Burna Boy achieved the milestone during the Sydney stop of his “No Sign of Weakness” tour held at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, where the concert alone generated about 1.117 million dollars in revenue.
The tour featured about 20 shows across three continents, including North America, Europe and Oceania.
During the Oceania leg of the tour, four shows in Australia sold approximately 30,946 tickets, generating a total revenue of about 3.1 million dollars.
Industry observers say the achievement further highlights the growing global influence of African music and demonstrates the ability of African artists to sell out major arenas outside the continent.
The feat also places the “On the Low” crooner among the highest-earning African touring artists on the global stage.
