Zenith Bank Plc has announced plans to open a new branch in Manchester, United Kingdom, as part of efforts to strengthen trade and financial connections between Africa and global markets.
In a statement on Monday, the bank said the branch, scheduled for inauguration on Tuesday, will support businesses engaged in international trade and investment across the UK, Europe, and Africa.

The facility will offer corporate banking, trade finance, treasury services, and other financial solutions to clients operating in these regions.
The bank said the Manchester branch would bolster its global network and align with its vision of building a global African banking institution that connects businesses and markets worldwide.
Adaora Umeoji, Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank, stated that the expansion reflects the bank’s strategy to link African businesses with global opportunities.
She highlighted Manchester’s status as a major commercial hub, making it an ideal location to strengthen financial and investment ties between the UK and Africa.
Umeoji added that the branch would collaborate closely with Zenith Bank’s London operations to support clients seeking to expand across markets, describing the development as another milestone in the bank’s international growth and commitment to facilitating trade and investment flows involving Africa.
