The fourth quarter alone contributed N3.9 billion, up from N1.8 billion in Q4 2024, driven by higher quarterly revenue.

Full-year revenue rose sharply to N44.4 billion, bolstered by gains across the company’s core service lines. Passenger handling services remained the largest contributor at N31.8 billion, followed by cargo handling imports at N10.4 billion and exports at N2.1 billion.

Despite a rise in the cost of sales to N18.9 billion, primarily due to equipment repairs and direct labor, gross profit climbed 55.6% to N25.4 billion, reflecting the company’s ability to absorb costs efficiently.

Administrative expenses increased to N11.2 billion from N10 billion, largely driven by higher employee benefits, rent, and electricity.

Additional operating income of N381 million from electricity bill recoveries, scrap, and rental activities, alongside finance income of N97.2 million, further supported the company’s bottom line. Profit after tax closed the year at N11.7 billion.

Skyway’s balance sheet also strengthened, with total assets rising 35.4 per cent to N56.5 billion, fueled by investments in property, plant, equipment, higher trade receivables, and cash balances.

Borrowings increased to fund capital expenditure, while retained earnings doubled to N21.7 billion, reflecting improved profitability.

Investors have responded positively, with the company’s shares closing at N152.7 on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) on 6 February 2026, marking an 18.74 per cent gain month-to-date and a 72.64 per centincrease year-to-date, with over 13 million shares traded.
