Managing Director of Indigo PR, Bolaji Abimbola, has been presented with a Special Recognition Award at the 2025 Annual Symposium of the Photojournalists Association of Nigeria, held on Friday, February 27, 2026.
Abimbola, who also serves as Managing Director/CEO of Integrated Indigo Limited, brings over 18 years of experience in shaping Nigeria’s public relations landscape and has previously been recognised with accolades such as PR Personality of the Year (2019), PR Practitioner of the Year (2020), and inclusion on the prestigious PR Power List (2024).

The PJAN Annual Symposium, a flagship industry gathering for media professionals, stakeholders, and policymakers, focused this year on the theme “Restoring Our Pride: The Role of Photojournalists in National Discourse”, delivered by veteran journalist Dare Babarinsa.
The keynote highlighted the critical role of photojournalists in shaping national identity and global perceptions of Nigeria.
While presenting the award, PJAN Chairman Princess Alaba Igbaroola praised Abimbola for his “visionary leadership, transformative impact, and unwavering commitment to excellence.”
