Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited has clarified that there has been no increase in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), stressing that its ex-depot price remains unchanged.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the refinery reaffirmed its position, noting that it is committed to maintaining stability in the domestic energy market and supporting broader economic resilience.
The company explained that by sustaining its current pricing structure, it is helping to cushion inflationary pressures, promote energy affordability, and ensure consistent fuel supply amid ongoing global market uncertainties.
“By absorbing prevailing cost pressures, the refinery continues to help moderate inflationary risks, promote energy affordability, and ensure uninterrupted supply,” the statement said.
Dangote Refinery also reiterated its commitment to supplying high-quality petroleum products to the Nigerian market, while supporting national objectives around price stability and energy security.

It urged the public to disregard misinformation and rely solely on official communications from the company for accurate updates on pricing and operations.
The clarification comes amid public concern over fuel pricing trends, as stakeholders continue to monitor developments in the downstream petroleum sector.
