In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described the senator representing Ogun West as a dedicated public servant and dependable political ally.

Tinubu noted that Olamilekan has the distinction of representing two senatorial districts, having previously represented Lagos West before becoming the senator for Ogun West.
He began his legislative career in 2011 as a member of the House of Representatives representing Alimosho Federal Constituency in Lagos.
The President commended the senator’s role in national budget management and his support for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Tinubu also praised Olamilekan’s democratic credentials and his contribution to strengthening cooperation between the Executive and Legislative arms of government.
