Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX Group) has confirmed the appointment of Ms. Jumoke Olaniyan as its Group Chief Strategy Officer, a move aimed at strengthening executive leadership as the organisation advances its next phase of strategic growth and digital transformation.
The Group announced the development on Monday, stating that the appointment would reinforce its drive for product innovation and broader market development across its integrated operations.
In her new role, Olaniyan will lead enterprise-wide strategy formulation and execution, with a mandate to deepen market liquidity and expand innovative product offerings. She is also expected to broaden investor participation and enhance long-term stakeholder value.
According to the statement, the position is central to improving cross-functional alignment and organisational effectiveness as NGX Group continues to evolve its integrated market infrastructure model.

Prior to joining NGX Group, Olaniyan held senior leadership positions at FMDQ Group Plc and FDHL Group, where she played key roles in business development, market expansion and product innovation across fixed income, currencies and derivatives markets.
With over two decades of experience spanning financial markets, consulting and banking, Olaniyan brings deep expertise in market structure, stakeholder engagement and enterprise transformation.
She holds a degree in Accounting and an MBA from INSEAD Business School and is widely recognised for driving growth and strengthening market participation.
