Guinness Nigeria Plc has crossed the ₦1 trillion market capitalisation threshold on the Nigerian Exchange Group, signalling strong investor confidence and sustained growth momentum.

The company disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday, noting that its market capitalisation stood at approximately ₦1.01 trillion as of April 10, while its enterprise value rose to about ₦1.05 trillion.

Data from the exchange showed that Guinness Nigeria’s share price closed at ₦462.90 on April 12, extending an 18-month rally that has significantly boosted shareholder value.

The milestone reflects a notable re-rating of the company, driven by improved business fundamentals and operational efficiency.

According to its audited financial results for the 18-month period ended Dec. 31, 2025, Guinness Nigeria reported revenue of ₦730.80 billion. Gross profit surged by 152 per cent to ₦230.5 billion, while the company returned to profitability with a net profit after tax of ₦41.16 billion, compared to a loss in the previous period.

The results followed the company’s transition to a new financial year-end of Dec. 31 and represent its first full audited reporting cycle under the current ownership structure.

Chairman of the Board, Fabian Ajogwu, described the achievement as a defining moment for the company.

“This milestone reflects the resilience of our business, the strength of our brands, and renewed investor confidence in our long-term prospects,” Ajogwu said.

He added that the company’s performance was driven by revenue growth, portfolio optimisation, cost discipline, and expanded market reach, alongside a stronger focus on innovation and consumer-centric strategies.
