GTCO announces 9th Food and Drink festival in Lagos

Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO)has announced the 9th edition of its flagship Food and Drink Festival, scheduled to take place from May 1 to May 3, 2026, at the GTCentre in Oniru, Lagos.

With the theme “Everything Food and Drink,” the 2026 edition is set to showcase a broad spectrum of culinary experiences, highlighting both traditional and contemporary cuisines while celebrating the stories behind them.

The festival will feature 204 free retail stalls, offering a diverse range of food and beverage options—from heritage dishes preserved across generations to modern interpretations of global cuisine.

Organisers say visitors can expect a rich lineup of activities, including interactive masterclasses, live cooking demonstrations, and food and wine tastings.

The event will also host a vibrant marketplace designed to promote small and medium-scale food businesses alongside established culinary brands.

In addition to its culinary offerings, the festival will maintain its reputation as a family-friendly event, with a dedicated play area and activities tailored for children.

Speaking ahead of the event, Group Chief Executive Officer of GTCO Plc, Segun Agbaje, described the festival as a platform that continues to evolve as both a cultural and economic driver.

“The GTCO Food and Drink Festival has, over the years, become a living expression of what we stand for as an institution: innovation, opportunity, and enterprise that is accessible to all,” he said.
