Afrobeats star Asake has announced plans to release his fourth studio album titled M$NEY on May 1, marking a major milestone in his music career.
The singer, whose real name is Ahmed Ololade, revealed the release date on his Instagram page, @mrmoney, with a striking teaser video showing a stone carver crafting what appears to be the album’s cover art.

The upcoming project is particularly significant as it will be Asake’s first full-length album released under his independent imprint, signaling a new phase in his artistic journey.
According to the singer, M$NEY will feature 13 tracks, including previously released singles such as Why Love, Badman Gangster featuring Tiakola, and his latest hit Worship alongside DJ Snake.
The 13-track album is expected to reflect Asake’s signature blend of Fuji-inspired vocals, Amapiano rhythms, and contemporary Afrobeats, while also introducing fresh sonic elements and creative experimentation.
Recall that Asake has previously released three major studio albums — Mr. Money With The Vibe in 2022, Work of Art in 2023, and Lungu Boy in 2024.

His hit song Amapiano also earned a nomination in the Best African Music Performance category at the 2024 Grammy Awards, despite being performed mainly in Yoruba.
Fans and industry watchers are now eagerly anticipating M$NEY, which is expected to further cement Asake’s position as one of Africa’s leading music exports.
