Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public have been notified that Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc has received regulatory approval to extend the filing deadline for its Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the year ended December 31, 2025.
The company disclosed that its Board of Directors approved the 2025 AFS on January 27, 2026.
The disclosure was signed by the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary, Erhi Obebeduo, on behalf of the company.
However, certain additional regulatory approvals required for the formal publication of the results by the initial March 1, 2026 deadline are still pending.
In view of this, the Securities and Exchange Commission has granted the company an extension to file the results on or before March 31, 2026, subject to the receipt of all outstanding approvals.
GTCO assured the market that the audited financial statements will be released immediately after all necessary regulatory clearances are obtained.
