Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has turned down a N50 million offer to face popular streamer Carter Efe in a proposed boxing match, calling the sum insufficient.
The offer was made by music executive Soso Soberekon during a livestream session and was quickly accepted by Carter Efe, who called for the bout to be scheduled.
However, Portable raised the stakes, insisting on an additional N300 million luxury car alongside the N50 million prize money before agreeing to the fight.
“Soso, N50 million is too little. Give me N50 million plus a car worth N300 million, totaling N350 million, and I will beat Carter Efe mercilessly,” Portable declared.
He further expressed confidence in his abilities, citing past victories over fellow entertainers Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington as proof of his prowess in similar bouts.
The proposed match continues to generate buzz on social media, with fans eagerly awaiting updates on whether the negotiation can meet Portable’s high demands.
