SunTrust Bank Nigeria Limited has announced the appointment of Mrs. Kudi Badmus, FCA, as its new Executive Director, in a move aimed at strengthening the bank’s leadership team and accelerating its growth strategy.
The bank said Badmus brings over three decades of professional experience spanning banking, energy, and infrastructure sectors, positioning her to play a key role in advancing its strategic objectives.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Badmus holds a degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University and has built a distinguished career across several financial institutions and corporate organizations.
Before her appointment, she served as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer at Eterna Plc, where she was instrumental in capital raising, financial restructuring, and business expansion initiatives.

She also held executive positions at ASO Savings and Loans Plc, as well as senior management roles at Bond Bank, now Polaris Bank, and First City Monument Bank.
In addition to her corporate leadership roles, Badmus is the Founder and Director of Fort Capital Ltd, where she oversees investment strategy and strategic partnerships.
SunTrust Bank noted that her appointment is expected to significantly enhance the institution’s execution capacity as it expands operations and strengthens its market presence in Nigeria’s competitive banking landscape.
