President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for national unity, peace and prosperity, praying that Nigeria’s ethnic, religious and cultural diversity will become a source of strength and sustainable development rather than division.
The President made the appeal on Sunday in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, while hosting members of his delegation to dinner.
Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah would bless Nigeria with enduring peace, harmony and prosperity, while granting the nation’s leaders the wisdom, courage and foresight to steer the country towards greater development and improved living conditions.
“May Almighty Allah bless Nigeria, convert our diversity into prosperity as a country,” the President said.
He expressed hope that Nigerians would continue to embrace mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence and a shared commitment to national progress, irrespective of their ethnic, religious and cultural differences.
Tinubu also sought divine guidance and protection for Nigerians at home and abroad, praying that Allah would strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among citizens and inspire patriotism, compassion and service to the nation.
