The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, has commended and rewarded outstanding officers for their professionalism, courage, and dedication to duty, following recent operational successes across the state.
The statement was signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Oluwaseun Abolurin, on Thursday, the Lagos State Commandant, Adedotun Keshinro, gave the commendation in line with the Corps’ tradition under the leadership of Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi, which emphasizes recognition of personnel who demonstrate excellence in service.
Speaking at an intellectual forum organized to enhance the capacity of Area Commanders and Divisional Officers on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Keshinro presented a letter of commendation to the Badagry Divisional Officer for exceptional performance in crime prevention and community engagement.
The recognition follows a major operational breakthrough by the Command, including the recent bust of a baby factory in Badagry.
The success was attributed to credible intelligence and coordinated efforts by operatives led by the Divisional Officer, CSC Gbenga Ekunola.
Keshinro highlighted the importance of teamwork, intelligence gathering, and strategic deployment of resources in achieving operational success.
He noted that the Badagry operation exemplifies the Corps’ commitment to safeguarding lives and property.
The Commandant also used the occasion to appreciate various departments and units, including Intelligence and Investigation, Critical National Assets and Infrastructure, Operations, Armed Squad, Agro Rangers, Legal, Private Guard Company, and Crisis and Disaster Management units, among others, for their contributions to recent achievements.
Area Commands and divisions such as Area C, Ojo, Badagry, Ojokoro, Amuwo, Olorunda, Ikosi-Ejirin, Ijegun, Ikeja, Onigbongbo, Ojodu, and Epe were equally recognized for notable successes in operations, prosecutions, and infrastructural development.
He urged officers and heads of formations to remain resolute, disciplined, and committed to the Corps’ mandates, assuring them that diligence and integrity would continue to be rewarded.
