The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, at his residence in Abuja.

The visit was aimed at commiserating with the former governor over the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, who passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Cairo, Egypt, after a period of illness.

Yilwatda expressed his condolences to El-Rufai and his family, offering prayers for the repose of the deceased and strength for the bereaved during the difficult time.

The APC chairman’s visit underscores the party’s solidarity with its members in moments of grief, as leaders continue to rally around the former governor following the loss.
