Zenith Bank Plc has urged members of the public to disregard videos circulating online falsely linking its Group Chairman, Dr Jim Ovia, to an investment scheme called Wealth Bridge.

The bank issued the advisory via its official X handle on Tuesday in Abuja, warning that the videos claim the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has approved or endorsed the scheme, an assertion the bank described as entirely false.

According to Zenith Bank, the videos, shared via the Greece Island Facebook handle, falsely promised returns of up to N2 million weekly on a N380,000 investment, redirecting viewers to a purported Arise News webpage with a registration portal for signups.

“The claim is entirely false and has no connection whatsoever to the Group Chairman, the Bank, or any of its affiliate companies,” the advisory stated.

The bank warned that anyone engaging with Greece Island, Wealth Bridge, Delicious Site, AfriQuantumX, Stock Market Analyst 1, or any other entity promoted in the videos does so at their own risk.

Zenith Bank emphasised that the videos and promotional materials are fraudulent and have nothing to do with the bank, urging the public to exercise caution and ignore the communications.
