The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced plans to operate three train trips on the Lagos–Ibadan Train Service (LITS) corridor on Monday, March 23, to address increased passenger demand.

In a statement issued on Friday in Lagos, the NRC Chief Public Relations Officer, Callistus Unyimadu, said the additional trips were introduced in response to the surge in travellers during the Eid-el-Fitr period.

He explained that the move is aimed at easing passenger movement and providing more travel options for commuters returning after the festive celebrations.
