The Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc, Dr. Adaora Umeoji has called on women to step forward confidently, claim their value, and lead with purpose as the bank prepares to celebrate the 2026 International Women’s Day (IWD).

According to the bank’s CEO, the seminar will provide a platform for women to drive purposeful action, professional growth, and sustainable societal impact.

“‘Give to Gain’ speaks to the responsibility institutions have to create real opportunities, while our theme ‘Take It, You Own It’ challenges women to step forward boldly and lead,” Umeoji said.

“At Zenith Bank, we are intentional about building environments where women can grow, thrive, and shape outcomes, not only within our institution but across the communities and industries we serve.”

The 2026 IWD seminar is scheduled to hold on March 9 in Lagos and is designed as a convergence of influence, insight, and inspiration.

Over the years, Zenith Bank’s IWD initiatives have convened women leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and emerging talents for dialogue, shared learning, and inspiration on gender equity, inclusion, and professional development.

Umeoji added that the seminar will facilitate conversations and activities centered on inclusion, amplifying women’s potential and creating tangible platforms for impact across society from business and governance to creative industries and technology.
